[http://www.prace-ri.eu/ The Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe] prepares the creation of a persistent pan-European HPC service, consisting several tier-0 centres providing European researchers with access to capability computers and forming the top level of the European HPC ecosystem. It is a part of European FP7 (Framework Programme) project and consists of 3 IPs (Implementation Phases) which are individually schedule 2 years period. The 1st IP started 2010-07-01, forthcoming IPs start by 1 year term. (2nd IP started 2011-07-01 and 3rd IPs will start 2012-07-01). The full project is to end 2014-06-30.
