MrBayes is a program for Bayesian estimation of phylogeny, which uses Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) to find and asses the correctness of the predicted trees.


Computational considerations

MrBayes supports MPI parallellisation, which may be helpful for solving large problems.
