Course overview

General-purpose graphics processing units (GPU) can provide a significant part of the computational power used in scientific computing applications. Mastering parallel computing with these devices is therefore becoming increasingly important.

The course will present an overview of the GPGPU hardware and examine the CUDA programming model and libraries in detail

Pre-requisites

Participants should be able to program in either of C, or Fortran at an intermediate level.

Participants should apply for a PDC account.
