In general, EC-Earth can be built from the unmodified source code. Once registration is completed (see offical website below), instructions for building and running the model on the NSC resource "triolith" can be found at the EC-Earth 3 development portal: Building EC-Earth3 on the NSC triolith system

EC-Earth is "free" software however a valid EC-Earth letter of intention must be signed and sent to the EC-Earth project administrators (see offical website below).
