CESM1 is a software suite for performing global climate simulations developed at the National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the USA.

Availability

No installations reported.

In general, there are no system installs of CESM1. Instead, CESM1 can be built from the unmodified source code. Once registration is completed (see CESM1.1), instructions for building and running the model on the NSC resource "triolith" can be found here: Building CESM1.1 on the NSC triolith system.

CESM1 is "free" software however a short registration must be filled out before access is granted to the source code.
